Hello Brothers and Sisters,
It is indeed a privilege to greet you again from the summit of the Mount. I want to thoroughly investigate something that perhaps you thought and wondered about; those periods in which your best seems to be your worst. I am talking about when life throws a fit and decides to go on a secluded vacation with consolation and comfort, leaving you with the likes of bitterness and brokenness. The reality is that all of us have been in a similar position in our lives in which we had to entertain the premature company of sadness. Perhaps it was in the form of a family crisis, the intervention of a troublesome and trying circumstance or the verge of losing a love one to a physical malady.
Whatever the case may be, I want to remind you that you are not alone. You have help. Jesus is standing at the door of your heart waiting for an invitation to enter your situation. Notice what he says in Revelation 3:20, “Behold I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
Until next time, don’t forget to reserve your invitation for Jesus to come to life’s party. In fact he is the only guest you will need.
With blessing,
Rev. Dr. Tony C. Person
