Good day brothers and sisters!
I bring you greetings and felicitation from the Mount .
I want to uncover for you today the importance of inward forgiveness that swallows up the internal pain of forgetfulness. Perhaps you have been hurt by someone you love and it seems impossible for you to forget the hurt, pain or stain to where you wear them to bed at night and get up with them early in the morning trapped between the portals of happiness and sadness.
I get it. You’re hurt, but the reality is that forgiveness isn’t for the other person, but forgiveness is for you.
The biblical record demands forgiveness in order to move beyond the past and enjoy the presence of the Lord. “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Matthew 6:14 .
Until next time, don’t let your past delay your present. I say to forgive and forget and move on.
In Christ,
Rev.Dr. Tony C. Person
