A Wednesday Word from the Mount

Good day brothers and sisters, I bring you greetings from the Mount;

I wonder have we internally investigated the numerous blessings within our lives in which we envision God’s handy work as he molds and shapes our lives to fit within his will?  With this in view, it is incumbent upon each of us to individually and collectively inspect and expect his presence in whatever the moment may be.

If the truth is told we all have moments in which we utter the interrogative “Where is God?”.  I believe if we would uncover the blanket of life, we would envision God’s goodness and mercy comforting and protecting us, even in those moments to where we find ourselves still giving him thanks. Therefore as we approach this Thanksgiving season, we must remind ourselves that no matter what our proclivities or inabilities are, we are commanded to give the Lord thanks.

Apostle Paul demonstrated and articulated this in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”  Brothers and sisters let your troubles be submissive to your thanks and be thankful.

Until next time keep pushing, praying and praising.  I wish each of you a happy and joyous Thanksgiving celebration from the Mount, “Where everybody is somebody.”

Blessings,

Rev. Dr. Tony C. Person
