Good day and welcome to another edition of Wednesday’s word from the summit of the Mount,
I want to suggest to each of you that life will somewhat cause us to feel uncomfortable. In fact, there will be times in our lives when everything seems smooth to where the water of our lives are pleasant and prosperous . But what happens when there appears a ripple on the water that turns into a tropical depression mixed with the heat of our concerns and now we are faced with a major hurricane called fear? What do you do when fear invades the territory of our faith?
Brothers and sisters during inclement weather we must be mindful of who we have on board and what God has given us to sustain us in our stormy periods. Look what the penman Apostle Paul says in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (KJV). Until next time, feed your faith and starve your fears. Can’t you see the sun peeping through the clouds…the storm is almost gone.
Dwelling in the “Son”shine,
